What Is The Difference Between A Laptop And A Chromebook?

You’ve probably seen commercials or ads, or even heard of people purchasing the latest Chromebook, yet it looks exactly like a laptop, so what’s the difference? The Chromebook is a laptop really but with a difference, it’s mainly used online and instead of using windows 10 or mac, it uses the google chrome OS with most apps and documents in the cloud. They are relatively cheap compared to laptops, although they are coming out with more high-end Chromebooks now.

Chromebooks are laptops, they just run on a different operating system, they are also generally much lighter than your windows laptops, and generally smaller. They are also much cheaper than your average laptop, making them popular with students and parents who want their child to have a laptop but are on a budget. There are exceptions though, as there are newer models of Chromebooks that are bigger, heavier and more expensive, so eventually, they will probably become the same as laptops eventually.
