Alienware Area 51M

This laptop is really new, only coming out on the market in January so you won’t find too many reviews on it at the moment. However, if you’re familiar with Alienware, you’ll know straight away that it’s good, and at first glance it looks very nice, smooth, comfortable and has the traditional futuristic look about it. As with many other laptops hitting the market now which keep getting lighter and thinner, Alienware is no exception, which leads you to ask, does this mean lack of power? or am I going to still be able to get the best possible gaming experience? The answer is simple, you get even more power with the Area 51M and an even better gaming experience than ever before, Alienware are specialists when it comes to knowing gamers and their needs.

Area 51M Gaming Laptop Welcome to A New ERA with 9TH GEN Intel CORE I9-9900K NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2080 8GB GDDR6 17.3" FHD 144HZ AG IPS NVIDIA G-SYNC TOBII EYETRACKING (2TB RAID|64GB RAM|10 PRO)

Area 51M gives you a desktop-grade processor (overclockable), a brand new design and the ability to switch out components with ease. At only 8.5lbs in weight and less than 1.5 inches thick in the rear this lightweight is a monster when it comes to performance. Also, as with most Alienware, it comes with a very cool lighting system, with a “Tron” like circle of light on the back section which is completely customizable using the colors of your choice to suit you. The cool looking vents at the back aren’t just for show either, they actually help increase airflow, up to 13% which is pretty incredible.

Alienware is also using what’s known as dual intake/exhaust airflow, which actually pulls in cool air from the top and bottom vents. There is also a high voltage fan, fin stacks made from copper, load balancing heat pipes and thermal control, which in turn allows you to play games at the same level as a desktop without ever having to worry about overheating. As far as specifications go there is more information at the bottom of this article, but there will undoubtedly be several variations to the Area 51M, such as a 2TB version, a 1TB both 64GB Ram and a 512GB 32GB, all come with Windows 10.

Power, Speed, And Gaming

So let’s talk about the power and speed of this beast, it comes with a desktop computer processor with an incredibly fast 9th gen Intel Core i7-9700K and i9-9900HK which is going to give you performance that is second to none. Also, with a 5.0 Ghz turbo boost, this is going to mean you’re going to get the best ever gaming experience, as well as the fastest possible speeds out there. The price on this gaming laptop is certainly overpriced, but then so is a Ferrari, it’s just that people that want the best are willing to pay for it, and this is the best that it gets as far as a gaming laptop goes by far!

Oh yes, and by the way, we forgot to mention that at the time of this article being written the Alienware Area 51M is officially the world’s first laptop with upgradeable graphics. In fact, you can upgrade the CPU, RAM and GPU which is a first for laptops.
